The UK/China GradLink website is now live

The UK/China GradLink website is now live. Go to: www.uwe.ac.uk/china-gradlink.

UK/China GradLink aims to help Chinese students and graduates research and access graduate opportunities in their home country. It is the third resource in the GradLink series, following the recent launch of UK/India GradLink, and the successful UK/Malaysia Gradlink site, which was developed by the University of the West of England (UWE) under the PMI 2 AGCAS initiative.

UK/China GradLink includes:

Ø  Graduate jobs board – providing hundreds of graduate job opportunities across China
Ø  Employer profiles – where Chinese employers give their advice to students and links to their latest vacancies
Ø  Graduate case studies – advice provided by Chinese graduates from universites across the UK
Ø  Careers advice section – including advice at sector level

The website is the result of discussions with a number of UK higher education institutions and business organisations, as well as UKTI and the British Council. This has been supplemented with a visit to China and extensive contact with Chinese businesses and recruitment agencies.

Thanks is due to colleagues at the UWE Careers Service for producing such an excellent resource.

A new online resource for those seeking jobs in Malaysia

UK/Malaysia GradLink

The University of the West of England has recently developed a new resource for students and graduates looking for work in Malaysia.  UK/Malaysia GradLink aims to provide a comprehensive resource for Malaysian students and graduates looking to find opportunities in Malaysia. It includes:

·         Job and internship vacancy databases: providing the latest opportunities across a range of sectors
·         Case studies: the experience and advice of successful graduates
·         Company profiles: where graduate employers give key advice to students
·         Advice and information section: including links to key resources, graduate vacancy websites and examples of applications.

The resource is a completely open website and free of charge to all users.

UWE believe it is potentially among the most comprehensive of resources available to UK-based Malaysian students. They are very keen for as many students as possible to use and benefit from this resource, and we would welcome students from the University of Glasgow.

Thank you UWE!

Companies may choose to interview you BEFORE the Careers Fair – UKEC is not responsible for whatever arrangements they make in this respect.
If you have any queries, send an email to info@ukeconline.com.
