How can the Careers Service better support GU students/graduates looking for employment in their own home countries?

The Careers Service recognises that many of our international students return home after their studies. Some go back immediately after graduation, others return after spending time either working, or looking for work in the UK.  We are keen to know what more we could do to help international students make the transition from Scotland to home.

What support could we offer you before you return home? Should we arrange for international employers to deliver presentations by video? Should we organise more virtual careers fairs to help students connect with employers back home?  And what help could we give you once you are back at home? Would it be helpful if we could organise careers conferences in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.? Would it be helpful if we could arrange interviews for our recent graduates with employers in India? Should we offer CV clincs in different countries?

We'd be delighted to hear your thoughts. Please leave your comments below.

Many thanks in advance.

You people can organize various virtual job fairs in China and India, as mostly student currently studying Post graduate courses in University of Glasgow are from these countries.
It will help a lot if you can provide one or two job interviews in the home countries.
